Roland DG UK chief executive to step down

Wide-format print manufacturer Roland DG has announced that Jerry Davies is to step down as chief executive and president of its UK business at the end of the year.

Roland DG says Davies is leaving the business to pursue other interests, and has set out a number of organisational changes as a result of the move as part of its succession plan.

Stephen Davis, marketing director for EMEA at Roland DG will take on additional responsibility as managing director for the UK and Ireland.

Davis will work closely with Rod Mitchell, chief financial officer of Roland DG UK, while Anders Mydtskov will move into an expanded role as EMEA sales director.

“We wish Jerry all the very best for the future in his non-executive director roles and we thank him for everything he has done for Roland DG over the years,” Roland DG EMEA chief executive Gregory Bilsen says.

“Since 2001 Jerry has played a key part in the development, growth and success of Roland DG and he will be sorely missed.”
