Norfolk sign-maker reaches major milestone

Norfolk-based signs, graphics and wide-format printer CIM has celebrated 20 years in business and opened up about its recent expansion into new markets.

Established in 2000, the company provides design, production and installation of signs, vehicle and window graphics and exhibition, display and point-of-sale.

Though the past 12 months have proved particularly challenging for businesses due to the novel coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic, CIM has been able to use its knowledge and expertise to diversify into new areas.

This enabled the company to continue trading and support those who reopened when lockdown eased.

Prior to 2020, CIM had produced less than 10 protective screens in its 20-year history, but in the past six months, CIM has produced in excess of 3,000 screens including desk/counter top versions for retailers and garden centres and even screens inside vehicles for driving instructors.

Mark Baker, managing director at CIM, says: “We are so proud to be celebrating our 20th anniversary. This is a major milestone and it’s all thanks to the hard work and dedication of the entire team at CIM.

“We’re really passionate about what we do and always try to deliver the very best for every client on every single job – something that has stood us in good stead for the past two decades.

“2020 has been a particularly challenging year and for us to be celebrating this anniversary and looking ahead to the next 20 years is a great achievement.”
