New date set for inaugural UK Graphic Awards

Organisers of the UK Graphic Awards have announced that the inaugural edition of the event will take place on February 2nd next year, after this year’s awards were delayed due to the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The event and its daytime Thrive in Print conference, both of which are run by Vism and FESPA, will remain at the original venue – Oulton Hall in Leeds.

All entries already submitted will be valid for the rearranged event, while any other projects completed between July 1st and November 30th this year can also be submitted by December 4th.

Dan Tyler, director at Vism, comments: “These awards were always designed to be a hugely positive experience for all involved, and the new date provides a great opportunity for the industry to come together with a sense of determination and excitement for the year ahead.

“We’re lucky to have such fantastic sponsors that have all backed this decision and we can’t wait to bring everyone together in February.”

Carol Swift, director at FESPA UK, adds: “We’re incredibly lucky to be working with such brilliant sponsors, and we’re looking forward to collaborating with them over the next few months to give the industry the party it will deserve come the new year.”
