Tharstern to showcase MIS efficiency at Print Show

Management information systems (MIS) provider Tharstern will invite visitors to The Print Show 2019 to drop in on its stand and learn about how its MIS solutions can help their business become more efficient and allow them to increase profits as a result.

Specialist staff from Tharstern will be on hand to talk visitors through its range of products, with attendees at the exhibition this September to be among the first people in the UK to see three brand new features on Tharstern’s MIS.

The first of these is project estimating, a new functionality for managing multiple print hobs as a single campaign, including the automatic creation of multiple estimates via a CSV import.

Tharstern will also be showcasing its new sheet optimisation feature, which will allow users to harness the power of Insoft Imp from within estimating.

Visitors can also learn more about the new direct mail estimating service, which is being targeted at companies that offer services such as installations, vehicle wrapping and even direct mail itself.

Exhibitions like The Print Show mean that we can engage with other software providers and see if there are ways we can work together to further streamline print company’s workflows

Lee Ward, sales director at Tharstern, says picks up on this final feature and explains how it can help those companies active in the direct mail market: “This feature has allowed us to expand our offering, and provide solutions for companies we may not have been the ideal candidate for previously.”

Ward expands on this by saying that Tharstern will be looking to meet people who are exploring MIS options and show them what Tharstern could offer to their business, with a focus on highlighting the new features.

“Tharstern as a business aim to help customers become more efficient and this often means integrating with other providers,” he says, adding: “Exhibitions like The Print Show mean that we can engage with other software providers and see if there are ways we can work together to further streamline print company’s workflows.”

But why The Print Show in particular for Tharstern? Ward says that the event offers the company the opportunity to place its products in front of thousands of professionals from all across the sector – including both new and existing clients.

We decided to attend The Print Show 2019 to meet some new people in the industry

“We decided to attend The Print Show 2019 to meet some new people in the industry,” he says, adding: “Possibly some new print companies that have just come into the market, as well as some older companies who are looking to expand their functionality and improve their workflows.

“We always enjoy attending exhibitions to meet up with familiar faces - meeting new and existing customers gives us the chance to find out how our system can help them.

“We like to get feedback from Tharstern users to find out exactly what they think of the software, so we can constantly improve and expand our offering.”
