Europac3D secures second partnership

To keep up with the continued development of its professional 3D printers and materials, DWS has added Europac3D as its exclusive UK distributor.

This is the second Italian partnership Europac3D has achieved this month, having also secured itself as the exclusive UK distributor for Italian 3D printer manufacturer, Roboze.

The DWS entry level 3D printers have a cylindrical build volume of 180 x 180mm and come with a range of 12 different materials.

The new X PRO S features a four-laser system which enables large industrial parts to be manufactured rapidly, using a wide choice of materials.

“Our mission at DWS is to develop professional 3D printers and materials that produce objects of unrivalled quality and performance, enabling businesses to embrace digitalisation and become increasingly innovative and competitive,” comments Daniella Lavezzi, business development and key account manager at DWS.

Providing an alternative to traditional stereolithography apparatus (SLA) technologies, the DWS systems use a technology where the laser shoots from underneath the resin vat.

...the unique technology of DWS gives us the opportunity to explore new verticals and applications within the rapid manufacturing market and strengthens our portfolio immensely

A benefit of this is that because the part is drawn up out of the vat of resin, it is only necessary to fill the tank with just enough material to build the parts – removing the need for large storage tanks of resin.

Another benefit is that the small tanks of resin can be easily switched from one build to another meaning any material can be used.

The firm also produces its own 3D printing materials in-house such as polypropylene, elastomers and high-temperature-resistant nanoceramics.

John Beckett, managing director of Europac3D adds: “We are delighted to have been selected as [DWS’] exclusive distributor here in the UK, the unique technology of DWS gives us the opportunity to explore new verticals and applications within the rapid manufacturing market and strengthens our portfolio immensely.”
