New tool demonstrated at FESPA Eurasia

A new tool has been demonstrated in Turkey this week at FESPA Eurasia by flatbed cutter manufacturer Summa.

The new tool for its F Series family of cutting tables is known as the Automated Depth Control (ADC) that it says simplifies tool, knife, or bit changes significantly by means of accurate measurement. The ADC measures the tip of the knife or bit with precision and sets the down position of the tool to the level of the table.
The Summa F Series are a range of flatbed cutting machines, suitable for cutting plastics, cardboards, foam boards, PVC, acrylic, wood, aluminium covered boards, banners, and textiles

The Summa F Series are a range of flatbed cutting machines, suitable for cutting plastics, cardboards, foam boards, PVC, acrylic, wood, aluminium covered boards, banners, and textiles.

With their multi-functional heads and the ability to produce a vertical force of 10kg along with pneumatically-driven media advance clamps, the cutting tables now have the added value of the ADC integrated in the side covers of the table. Once installed and calibrated it is permanently available and does not need to be removed after usage.
