Signwaves commits to customers with investment

Signwaves has revealed that it invested £1.5m into its business this year, with the aim of the ongoing programme to satisfy the demands of its customers.

This year, Signwaves opted to make changes to its senior management team, as well as upgrading its print capabilities and purchasing additional space in an effort to optimise the quality of its products and service.

In a statement, Signwaves said: “The company believes that staff development and targeted recruitment are the key to the continued growth and success of any business, and this year has seen the appointment of key staff into three strategically important roles.”

Ashley Mallet, an experienced customer service manager has brought with her extensive knowledge of the ISO quality management system; Julia Francis was appointed as inventory and purchasing manager, while Michaela Smith-Moore joined the company as marketing manager.

Changes to the management team were complemented by the acquisition of the neighbouring warehouse property of Signwaves’ facility, thus adding 16,000sq ft of factory and warehouse capacity to its portfolio, as well as the opportunity to optimise the combined site for improved flow of materials and processes

The investment project this year also included the purchase of a state-of-the-art large-format flatbed digital printer, which was installed at the firm’s site after an extensive period of research and testing.

The new machine has enabled Signwaves to offer its customers more options in terms of size and range of printed materials, while the firm is also benefitting from faster production speeds and capacity, as well as high print quality.

Signwaves says that the graphics team and operatives that are involved with it on a day-to-day basis reporting back with positive comments in regards to its quality of output and potential it offers.
