Orafol takes a festive flight with Air Berlin

German airline Air Berlin used material from Orafol to produce special graphics for one of its aircraft.

Using Oraject 3967AC aircraft graphic film and Oraguard 293AC over-laminating film, the airline was able to create graphics for its Air Berlin Christmas aircraft, which has been used to carry passengers during the festive period.

Both materials are made with a perforated structure, which Orafol says makes it conformable in the application process.

Passengers that were lucky enough to take a flight on the special aircraft were not only able to check in and bring with them their Christmas tree on international routes free-of-charge, but also enjoy a glass of mulled wine on board.

Evelyn Zocher, sales and marketing director for the graphic products division at Orafol, comments: “We are really happy and proud that Air Berlin has again chosen the Orafol material for this very special seasonal celebration.
