Hospice flies Hampshire Flag

Hampshire Flag Company has donated a range of flags and banners in support of The Rowans Hospice.

The charity, which helps improve the lives of people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, is located a few miles away from the firm, in Waterlooville

The selection of roller banners, PVC banners, and tear drop flags will be used at a range of events throughout the year, in an attempt to raise the charity’s profile.

“Once again the support from the Hampshire Flag team has been invaluable. We are extremely grateful for their generosity and willingness to donate so many promotional items free of charge,” says Ann Cooper, head of communications at The Rowans Hospice.

This donation continues Hampshire Flags support of the charity—the company made similar contributions in 2010 and 2011.

Managing director of the Waterlooville firm, Graham Wilkinson, comments: “The Rowans Hospice plays such an important role and we are delighted to be supporting the charity again, especially as it's an intrinsic part of our community.”

Since its formation in 1994, The Rowans Hospice has helped more than 7,000 patients and families across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. With the help of Hampshire Flag Company, the Hospice is aiming to raise over £4m this year, in order to continue its important work in the community.
