The brief was to promote the new Netflix show, Ferry, and the two companies picked a fitting application for the job – a ferry wrapped to promote the show Ferry.

PPP Nederland printed and installed the advertising wrap which was produced using Contra Vision substrates.

The wrap needed to be installed over the windows of the ferry without obstructing the view for passengers onboard. This was done using a Contra Vision perforated window film.

PPP chose to use Contra Vision’s Performance HD White on Black which is a 40% transparency film featuring micro-perforations for window applications such as this.

Image quality is paramount for a promotional application like this, you want your graphics to stand out and so using a premium product is necessary

Commenting on the project, Contra Vision says: “Image quality is paramount for a promotional application like this, you want your graphics to stand out and so using a premium product is necessary.

“The breakthrough window perf delivers the sharpest and most vibrant window graphics thanks to 1mm diameter holes which are 60% smaller in area than standard one-way vision window films.”

The company explains that whilst the ferry will only be wrapped for a short time while the film is being promoted, the graphics themselves have a durability of over three years.
