EFI set to open eyes with PrintSmith Vision

EFI has moved to enhance its print workflow offerings by updating PrintSmith Vision, a browser-based management information system (MIS) software product for print shops

EFI says its PrintSmith Vision MIS product has been designed to boost profitability and efficiency

Designed to assist with profitability and efficiency, EFI says the newly updated version of the product “helps users focus on winning more jobs and managing them more efficiently”.

The updated PrintSmith Vision features mobile views to allow users to check work-in-process and job statuses, or check arriving shipments remotely, as well as new dashboards to provide users with faster access to information.

Jeffrey White, general manager for small and medium business products at EFI’s Productivity Software division, comments: “PrintSmith Vision version three includes many of the feature requests we have received from our large user community.

Our goal has been, and continues to be, to provide MIS solutions that improve the productivity and profitability of our customers, giving them more control over business and production data so they can better manage their businesses in real time

Other new features include purchase order generation to allow users to create and manage purchase orders for paper, charges, jobs and invoices, as well as an improved email system that include the ability to email purchase orders.

Users will also benefit from an improved scheduling module that will enable them to perform enhanced scheduling and job tacking with data collection.
