Philips plots EMEA growth with senior hire

Philips Professional Display Solutions (PPDS) has appointed Marion Chaignon to execute its marketing strategy in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), as part of its ongoing growth plans across the region.

Chaignon joins PPDS from leading B2B and B2C marketing agency Red Pimiento, where she spent almost six years serving in a number of EMEA roles, including account director, project director and team manager.

During her professional career, Chaignon has executed major campaigns for a host leading technology brands such as Samsung Electronics, Asus, Nikon, HP, Lenovo and Logitech.

Working out of the PPDS global head office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Chaignon will report directly to marketing director Ron Cottaar.

“Marion’s extensive knowledge and experience in not only working with leading technology companies like ours but working on specific vertical market campaign strategy will add further strength to our already thriving team,” Cottaar says.

Speaking about her new role, Chaignon says: “Having spent the past decade working with multiple clients and executing a wide and extremely varied range of brand campaigns, the opportunity to work with PPDS and devote all my efforts and everything I’ve learned to a single brand is a tremendously exciting challenge.

“My background and experience have provided me with a deep understanding on how to successfully curate and execute the correct ways to market brands and products to specific industries and verticals.

“Skills that are an essential criterion for PPDS and its multi-industry product strategy, be it pro TVs in hospitality, interactive touch displays to reimagine education and corporate meetings, or attention demanding LED in retail stores.”
