New self-adhesive film “fills a gap” in market

ASLAN has launched a new self-adhesive film that is ideal for difficult surfaces and applications.

MonsterTack is ideal for applications where the surface is exposed to elements such as dust and dirt

The new MonsterTack ASLAN DFP 05 is a white, glossy self-adhesive film that sticks securely even in tricky conditions.

This is done using a solvent gas and lubricating oil resistant adhesive formula which the company says makes the film stick to surfaces that would usually be problematic. Some examples of tricky surfaces could include equipment susceptible to dirt and dust such as agricultural and industrial machines or rally and Motocross vehicles.

According to ASLAN, the new solution “perfectly supplements” its DFP 06, 07 and 08 UltraTack films.

The durable nature of this new product means it can be applied to either flat or curved surfaces in temperatures as low as -10°C and can last for up to seven years outdoors.

We are proud that the MonsterTack ASLAN DFP 05 fills a gap in the world of self-adhesive films. This requires know-how and a lot of development work and it is what ASLAN has stood for, for more than 70 years.

Compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, latex, UV curable inks, and screen printing inks, the film can also be removed from low-energy substrates and steel without leaving a mark.

Anja Falkenberg, marketing and sales director of ASLAN, comments: “We at ASLAN have been able to prove, time and time again in the past, that we are able to meet, understand and solve the challenges in sign-making and digital printing.

“We are proud that the MonsterTack ASLAN DFP 05 fills a gap in the world of self-adhesive films. This requires know-how and a lot of development work and it is what ASLAN has stood for, for more than 70 years. The result is a film that is extremely easy to process despite the high demands.”
