Epson will focus on personalisation and production on-demand at drupa 2024 as it plans to demonstrate its commercial and industrial digital inkjet range.

The manufacturer’s line-up covers large industrial label presses, wide-format direct-to-fabric, dye-sublimation, and signage machines to smaller, compact devices designed for high-quality colour printing.

Yasanori Ogawa, Epson’s global president will deliver a keynote speech on the first day of drupa titled ‘Up Close and Personal – Innovation in Digital Printing’. Ogawa will reflect on how Epson has “reinvented itself” by moving away from analogue towards a more sustainable digital inkjet future.

Ogawa will also discuss the potential for digital in commercial and industrial printing in terms of sustainability and meeting the demand for personalised and more valued products.

A main focus for Epson at drupa this year will be how to meet the growing demand for localised on-demand production as the industry moves away from analogue to personalised, bespoke products.

Duncan Ferguson, vice president of Epson Europe’s Commercial and Industrial printing division, adds: “At drupa we’ll be showcasing a storefront of stunning products that illustrate how our printing technology encourages creativity and allows individuals the creative freedom to realise their dreams working with many colours on numerous materials and surfaces.”

On show on the Epson stand will be the new 64” SureColor SC-P20500 being displayed for the first time; the new ColorWorks C8000 on-demand digital colour label printer for commercial label production; and the new direct-to-fabric Monna Lisa 13000.

Also on display will be the SureColor F10000 with new optional jumbo roll dye-sublimation printer; the new SC-F11000H with added orange and violet inks and optional jumbo roll; and new additions to Epson’s personalisation and micro-production printer range.

This range includes the new hybrid DTG/DTF SureColor F1000; A4 UV flatbed SureColor V1000; A3 UV flatbed SureColor V2000; and the micro-production DTG/DTF SureColor F2200.

Epson will also show its complete range of mini-lab (D1000 and D500) and smaller dye-sublimation printers (SureColor F500 and F100), and its latest industrial robust printhead, the D3000, for aqueous and UV ink applications.

Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
