Some of the products on display at the Retail Technology Show 2022 included the popular TSP100 series of printers, with the new TSP100IV Series having launched in April this year. Describing the kit, Star says: “the TSP100IV offers the renowned build quality of the TSP100 along with innovative new features for omnichannel retail.”

The TSP143IV UE model is designed for traditional point-of-sale applications and offers multi-connectivity. As well as Ethernet and USB-C interfaces, the printer also features a USB-A port with Android Open Accessory (AOA) support for Android.

Star Micronic also offers its CloudPRNT technology which is available on a range of its printers and is also built into the TSP100IV. This enables users to print directly to store from an online ordering platform without the need for a local tablet or POS system.

In addition to this, Star has also recently launched StarPrinter.online, a service for retail businesses to manager their printers with ease.

Having experienced a demand for different connectivity options, Star also launched the MCW10 module which plugs directly into the mC-Print series and the TSP100IV. This compact solution supports the new WPA3 standard for wireless printing.

Also on show at the event was Star’s linerless label kiosk mechanism which it demonstrated for the first time. The Sanei SK1-311SK can be built into a kiosk for versatile labelling.
