CVI Group debuts dedicated vinyl wrap podcast

Wrap Cast is believed to be the only dedicated podcast for vinyl wrapping in the UK

CVI Group is looking for future guests and sponsors in order to build its new platform

Vinyl wrappers and signage applicators have a new resource for industry tips, knowledge, and business-orientated conversations titled Wrap Cast.

The new podcast has been launched with an introduction episode as well as its first official episode which debuted on January 29th with Rosie Christie, co-owner of architectural wrapping company, Fusion.

Wrap Cast has been developed by Creative Visual Installations (CVI) Group, a vehicle wrapping company which delivers industry training at various skill levels. 

The podcast has been created by host Chris Edwards, director of CVI Group and new company CVP, along with co-host Jordan Kemp who works in the graphics application side of the industry.

With no sign of an active and regular podcast for vinyl wrapping for vehicles and interiors anywhere in the world (some US companies have produced semi-regular content over the past three years), Edwards and Kemp felt this was the ideal opportunity to make a dedicated and trusted audio platform.

Speaking to SignLink, Edwards says: “We believe the main benefit of this podcast is the guests we have and the more human/down to earth approach.”

CVI Group was founded in 2014 and has evolved over the course of the last ten years focusing on the subcontracting side of the industry in order to build a network of dedicated customers.

Edwards continues: “We offer zero editing for a reason. We want it to be raw, fun, laid back, and most of all, just an open chat about the industry. There are of course educational benefits and interactions from listeners who can learn, ask, and generally get involved.”  

Under the ‘Creative Visual’ branding, Edwards also runs CVP which has been established to supply the wrapping industry with products and bespoke tools, many of which are still under development.


Reflecting the constant evolution of digital resources and their relationships with physical products, podcasting has become a popular way for individuals to communicate with audiences who want to learn, laugh, and/or unwind.

“As the world becomes more digital, we see that you have to move with the times, or you will be left behind,” says Edwards, adding: “A podcast gives you the digital ability to talk to hundreds, if not thousands of people simultaneously.”

The intention of Wrap Cast is for listeners to enjoy a programme developed especially for them which they can listen to while travelling or working to relate and engage with tips and stories told episode to episode. 

CVI Group is encouraging listeners and individuals in the industry to share, follow, and provide feedback for the series in order to tailor the podcast in the best way for listeners. 

Tony Murgatroyd, regional sales manager at All Print Supplies has been confirmed as the show’s next guest. Scheduled guests include individuals from across the signage and wrapping industry all giving their knowledge and experience within signage and vinyl wrapping.
