“Exceptionally high” freight and logistics costs are the reason for the price changes
These price changes will be applied to all its products globally and the company cites the move as necessary to offset the ongoing “exceptionally high” freight and logistics costs.
Marcos Furrer, chief operating officer at Archroma, comments: “Archroma has made every effort to absorb these increases.
“We have however reached a point where these adjustments are needed for us to be able to maintain our service levels.”

Ongoing issues with raw material supplies and delays in deliveries caused by a shortage of lorry drivers and other staffing issues due to a mixture of the pandemic and Brexit, as been wreaking havoc with the production of products in a number of industries, including print.
Archroma provides specialty chemicals for the branded and performance textiles, packaging and paper, coatings, adhesives and sealants markets.
Based in Switzerland, the company operates over 100 countries and employs 3,000 staff members across 26 production sites.
