ADI High Resolution LED screens

Back in 1997 at Villa Park in Birmingham (the home of the claret and blues), ADI installed an LED screen to enhance the experience of the spectators. Since then ADI have gone on to make major inroads into the stadium market, and have also carved out a niche in the leisure market. They have now targeted the retail sector with the launch of new high-resolution products aimed specifically at shopping centres, stores, and malls.

The firm has also recruited James McIntyre as business development manager to build the brand's expansion into creating LED screens in the retail sector.  McIntyre brings a wealth of experience from the retail, experiential and advertising industries, having worked for global companies including JCDecaux.

As successful innovators in LED technology ADI understand the impact that bespoke screen and digital signage solutions can have within the retail environment

ADI says that, as retailers look to create destination stores as an integral part of the multichannel experience, LED has a powerful role to play as a dynamic, flexible platform to increase sales. They have developed a range of high-resolution products including the ultra-high resolution SMD screens, which are available in 3mm, 2.5mm or 1.9mm pixel pitches, delivering bright and eye-catching visuals for the shoppers.

A modular design enables them to be built to virtually any size and shape required, whilst ADI are able to provide an end-to-end service that also encompasses creative production, content delivery, and support and maintenance. They have installed displays at the Bluewater and Bullring shopping centres, and for brands including ODEON and Sports Direct.com.

McIntyre says: “As successful innovators in LED technology ADI understand the impact that bespoke screen and digital signage solutions can have within the retail environment. With fresh, unique content and strategic positioning, we’re able to provide a dynamic channel for brand communications and shaping positive store experiences.”
