Zünd will demonstrate a range of digital cutting, board loading, robotics, and software solutions

Hall 1, Booth D40

Zünd will demonstrate a variety of digital cutting solutions at drupa 2024 utilising the theme ‘Performance across the board’.

The manufacturer will highlight how its cutting solutions can be combined with intelligent software and automated material handling for efficient and cost-effective finishing.

With Zünd’s product line being highly modular, users can add additional tools and material-handling options depending on requirements.

Making its trade show premiere will be the new Q-Line generation of cutters with Board Handling System BHS180 and integrated UNDERCAM optical capturing system.

The new machine concept behind the Q-Line with BHS180 is described as “redefining performance limits in multiple respects” as well as improving production efficiency when compared to traditional die-cutting.

Now in its third generation, UNDERCAM will also be presented with a Zund G3 cutter at drupa.

Combined with the UNDERCAM optical capture system, the board-loading extension enables semi-automatic board feeding, job identification via QR code, and registration during the production process.

On show at drupa will be Zünd’s new board-loading extension. Complete with UNDERCAM, this enables semi-automatic board feeding, job identification, and registration during the production process.

The manufacturer will also be exhibiting workflow automation solutions including Caldera PrimeCenter which enables simple and automated print and cut file preparation.

Zund’s Connect solution for production monitoring and analysis also plays a key role in identifying potential areas for optimising production processes.

Also being shown by Zünd will be various solutions for partial and fully automated material handling, offering potential savings to signage and graphics manufacturers due to their ability to work without human intervention.

Visitors to the Zünd booth will also be able to see how they can use the revamped Zünd Cut Center (ZCC) to control robots and automatically pick and sort finished parts. This will be demonstrated with the Robot PortaTable 130 from Zünd partner Robotfactory.

A Digital Textile Micro Factory will also be set up at the Textiles Touchpoint in Hall 4 and the Canon booth in Hall 8A.

Lars Bendixen, segment manager of Zund, comments: “We have systematically expanded our portfolio to optimise the cutting workflow every step of the way. At drupa 2024, we will be presenting innovative and highly productive solutions to help our customers digitalise their production on an individual basis according to their needs.

“During our conversations with customers, we take the time to really get to know their specific requirements, right down to the smallest details. That way, we can put together exactly the right combination of solutions they will need to ensure a successful and competitive production workflow. We actively support them in their transformation to the digitalised future.”

Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
