Following the success of the inaugural Sign Awards in March of this year, the freshly named Sign & Wrap Awards will take place on February 26th, 2024.
Sign and graphics companies are now eligible to submit their entries to this year’s awards ahead of the November 17th deadline.
The event is well placed alongside Printwear & Promotion LIVE! and Sign & Digital UK, two co-locating shows which are running between Sunday, February 25th and Tuesday, February 27th.
Speaking recently about the merging of the shows, event director at Datateam Business Media, Tony Gardner, says: “Following the acquisition of Sign & Digital UK, positive discussions have taken place with Exhibitors. The co-location will be a first for the UK’s sign, display, and garment decoration markets, and many exhibitors have identified that there is an exciting opportunity to enhance and energise both shows with a co-location.”
The Sign & Wrap Awards will take place on the evening of the second day of Sign & Digital/Printwear (Monday 26th).
The 2023 Sign Awards gave a chance for the signage community to celebrate and network after signage awards had been adversely affected by the global challenges that took place between 2019 and 2022.
The Sign & Wrap Awards is now able to build on that success and demonstrate itself as an industry staple after the success of sister show - The UK Graphic Awards.
This year’s event has expanded to cover new categories in signage as well as vehicle wrapping and architectural film installation.
A total of 70 companies have already pre-registered in advance to submit entries. The awards are free to enter and open to businesses throughout the UK and Ireland.
Vehicle wraps will be judged across individual and fleet wraps, covering printed work and full colour changes as well as a special category for the growing area of architectural film.
The awards also recognise individuals and companies through awards like Young Signmaker, Industry Champion, and Signage Company of the Year (under/over 30 employees).
The event will also reward work such as wayfinding schemes, sustainable projects, and traditional signage.
