Phil McMullin, UK sales manager, prographics at Epson has praised Newtech’s formula which sees it tour the UK to showcase products such as the ColorWorks C7500

“The incredible growth in demand for short-run, customised and personalised products of all kinds is set to continue. With it comes a boost to business for commercial printers, designers, sign-makers and retailers – off and online. What makes this possible - and highly profitable - are the new technologies available in wide-format printing, sign making, packaging, product personalisation and textile branding,” explains Martin Morrissey, managing director of Coactive Events.

Indeed, the latest major brand to join the Newtech collective of companies is none other than Epson. It used the latest stop off to showcase its Color Works series of desktop label printers along with its award-winning hands-free Label Works labelling devices.

We now have a waiting list of new exhibitors and we are looking forward to working with an even stronger group next year

The new ColorWorks C7500 allows users to print labels without the need for die-cut media. New features for the ColorWorks C7500 are the addition of Wasatch RIP software adding colour and workflow management capabilities and continuous media support making this printer.

Phil McMullin, Epson Pro Graphics sales manager explains: “The Newtech Shows enable us to demonstrate the latest innovations in Epson commercial print solutions, introducing print-service-providers to new and different ways to become more profitable, all wrapped up with the reassurance of the Epson brand.

The Newtech Shows provide us with a platform to meet with prospective customers interested in expanding or growing their business, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.  We are looking forward to the next shows in London and Leeds” Coactive Events, the organisers of Newtech, have also just announced they have expanded their portfolio of venues for 2017.

“In our first year we had two events, second year four, third year six, fourth year eight and now we are on course for ten events for 2017,” says managing director Martin Morrissey. He adds: “Thanks to terrific support from our great group of exhibitor partners we are delighted to announce even better nationwide, local coverage to ensure they get an even better return on investment.

“Our format enables us to provide a happy and relaxed environment. We also listen and take on board their ideas and how they want to offer their products and services at each venue. We now have a waiting list of new exhibitors and we are looking forward to working with an even stronger group next year”.
