InkTec will be launching its JETRIX LXa5 LED UV flatbed printer in Europe at FESPA

Through the launch of a new machine and through partnerships, InkTec’s presence at FESPA Global Print Expo 2024 will have a sustainability focus.

The manufacturer will be launching its JETRIX LXa5 LED UV flatbed printer in Europe which has been developed for “large-format printing at an economical price”.

This new machine uses Konica Minolta 6PL printheads and can achieve print speeds of up to 37sq m per hour with a maximum resolution of 1,440 x 726dpi for media up to 100mm in thickness.

InkTec will also be showcasing the JETRIX XGR320 3.2m UV LED roll-to-roll printer with Ricoh Gen6 printheads and multi-roll capability. Wide double rollers both front and rear mean this machine can easily print heavy rolls of media up to 200kg.

The company’s DTF and UV-DTF printing product ranges will also be showcased, ideal for promotional items.
“With FESPA’s theme being Opportunities Revealed, the exhibition is the ideal event to have the European launch of the JETRIX LXa5 printer,” says Joey Kim, managing director of InkTec Europe.

“We are incredibly excited to bring to market all the celebrated and recognised sophistication of the JETRIX brand with this new affordable, practical flatbed printer.”

Seeking to shine a light on sustainability through the printing workflow, InkTec will also be partnering with Brett Martin and its environmental media range and Keencut and its SteelTrak.

InkTec will be offering live demonstrations on its stand taking visitors through each stage of the workflow process. Brett Martin will be supplying its Foamalux Light Bio, Marcryl Eco, and Marpet gFS with media printed onto the JETRIX LXa5 using InkTec LX-LED ink. This will then be cut using the Keencut SteelTrak.

Kim adds: “As manufacturer of the JETRIX LED UV printer series, we are ideally positioned to share insights on how sustainability through the print workflow can be achieved.

“The LXa5, with its LED UV technology, offers eco-friendly printing with no warm-up time, reduced energy consumption and extended lamp life of up to 20,000 hours. It also features the latest JETRIX GUI, where nesting and mapping capacity is taken to a new level to maximise printing space, minimise media wastage, while simplifying, optimising, and automating as many steps as possible.”
