Krankenhaus der Augustinerinnen in Cologne recently expanded its facility and was in need of new solutions to help manage its yearly average of 13,000 in-patients and 28,000 outpatients – though this is set to be higher for 2020 due to Covid-19.

PPDS, working with and wizAI solutions GmbH, created and deployed a custom intelligent system that displays interactive hospital floor plans, cleaning schedules, hygiene requirements and room availabilities.

In total, 14 Philips 10” Touch displays were rolled out across the site, providing the hospital’s 750-plus staff with greater convenience in making status updates for each treatment room.

A custom remote management console links each the screens with the hospital’s existing computers and tablets.
