Absen targets advertising market with AW Series

Global LED display manufacturer Absen has announced the launch of its new AW Series digital-out-of-home (DOOH) solution, as it seeks to expand its presence in the advertising sector.

The AW Series can cope with extreme temperatures between -20? and +50?

Available in two standard sizes – 500mm x 500mm and 500mm x 750mm panels – the AW Series boasts a brightness of 5,000 nits and a refresh rate of 3,840Hz.

Absen says the AW Series is suitable for fixed installation and can also be applied to light boxes and smart light poles to cater for what it described as a growing trend of LED display and 5G technology integration.

Other major features include IP65/IP54 waterproof rating and weatherability design, which means the AW Series can withstand heavy rain, strong winds and challenging environments between -20? and +50?.

“Absen can provide a turnkey solution, which includes LED display, frame and controller; making it easy to install, transport and maintain,” Absen says in a statement.

“As the product can be easily fixed to light poles and in light boxes, it is ideally suited for bus shelters and other types of street furniture applications.”
