Brett Martin provides the perfect solution

EFI has sparked a collaboration with Brett Martin after coming across its specialist plastic products at the ISA Sign Expo and now stocks its products at its Customer Experience Center.

The Brett Martin range of substrates was used on EFI’s booth at PRINTING United at the end of last year

Impressed with the feel of the material and the choice of colour and thickness of Brett Martin’s range, EFI also chose the firm to provide its Foamalux White, Foamalux Ultra and Foamalux Xtra substrates for use on its new VUTEk 32h printer at PRINTING United 2019.

The Foamalux White is a bright white, direct-to-print PVC media which is UV stable and suitable for digital and screen printing. Foamalux Ultra is a high-gloss premium surface in white and six colours.

The Foamalux Xtra offers an environmental solution as it is made of a black core formed of 80% recycled foam PVC taken from production and post-consumer signage waste, placed in between one or two layers of white virgin PVC.

We were impressed with the feel of the materials and the different colour and thickness options, so we decided to test the materials for ourselves to see how they would work with our printers

Tiffany Bisson, who works at EFI’s Customer Experience Center in New Hampshire, explains: “We were impressed with the feel of the materials and the different colour and thickness options, so we decided to test the materials for ourselves to see how they would work with our printers.

“What we found was the Foamalux range held a really nice tight dot, which is key for inkjet products. The adhesion levels were also great and material handling was easy so we’ve decided to host the range of substrates in our Customer Experience Center.”
