Pyramid launches online powerhouse

Pyramid Display Materials has unveiled a brand new online platform to help expand its strategic market share and capture new customers for its Avery Dennison and MACtac vinyl product ranges.

“The sophisticated functionality of the website’s software allows users to complete their order seamlessly and quickly,” says Shauna Doody, Pyramid’s e-Business manager

The site features leading self adhesive brands Avery Dennison and MACtac and utilizes Pyramid’s stockholding of almost £4 million worth of sign and POS media.

“When we sat down over six-months ago to plan the build and structure of the site our overriding thought was to give new customers to Pyramid access to our tremendous range of products,” says Shauna Doody, Pyramid’s e-Business manager.

We really do feel we are bringing something new to the market by opening up our in-depth stocks of self-adhesives to the whole of the UK

She adds: “The site features easy-to-use search and product filtering functions for both the Avery Dennison and MACtac ranges of inkjet, plotter and vehicle wrapping films—essential sign-making supplies for ease of vinyl application—together with a selection of banner and other print materials.

“We developed a fully automated on-line ordering service, meaning new customers can create a unique log-in that provides access to their ordering history and more. Our new site is targeted at customers who have previously not traded with Pyramid and are based in areas we have not traditionally serviced via our branch network.

"Logistics will be carried out by a national carrier network, meaning we can offer sign makers a 24-hours a day ordering service with delivery guaranteed on the next working day.

“We really do feel we are bringing something new to the market by opening up our in-depth stocks of self-adhesives to the whole of the UK.”
