PPB feels ‘optimistic’ about growth

Following a move to new premises and a number of strategic appointments, PPB has revealed that it is feeling ‘optimistic’ about its future growth and expansion.

PPB has recruited a number of new team members to support its investment in new facilities

PPB moved into a specifically designed new building consisting of 13,000sq ft in September 2015. It has over 1,200 pallet spaces and is serviced by 26 tonne lorries. The new space is close to the company’s original southern base next to the M25.

“It is all about maintaining and improving service levels to customers in London and surrounding areas,” says Richard Proctor, managing director for PPB, adding: “We have implemented a new agreement with TNT to cover smaller deliveries which will benefit customers of our new Westland Digital Media products.”

This significant investment is part of our ongoing strategy to refocus PPB from its origins as a paper and board stockist merchant

Following this investment in new facilities, PPB appointed a new branch manager, Steve Skinner, and a new warehouse manager, Keith Muston. Tom Ponton will now cover the PPB product portfolio, and Sarah Janes will cover PPB’s wide-format digital media sales and Westland Digital Portfolio.

Proctor adds: “This significant investment is part of our ongoing strategy to refocus PPB from its origins as a paper and board stockist merchant. PPB has invested heavily to provide the widest range of Plastic, Paper & Board, display materials and finishing services for the screen print and digital display markets.

“Further investment in machinery and stock now allows PPB to provide a high value service to Sign Makers, Fabricators and Wide Format Digital markets. Our new product offering also recognises the developing needs of customers.”
