Before I started looking into the topic of retail signage solutions for this month’s feature (on page ?), I had not taken much notice of the signs and displays that feature on our high streets. Now, I realise, they play a much more important role than I expected.
The UK is in for an exciting spring this year in terms of royal affairs, with the Duchess of Cambridge giving birth to her third child, as well as the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry set for mid-May.
Digital signage seems to be everywhere these days. Outside your local supermarket advertising the goods inside, in your favourite high-street shops showcasing the latest fashion, and even at the bus stop. It is a widely growing market that is expanding its reach in the UK drastically.
In this month’s issue of Signlink, I have taken a look at tools of the trade (page 49) and realised that it is often the little gizmos and gadgets that make a huge difference.
