Tech Buzz will cover all the latest cutting edge technological developments which are of most relevance to our industry. Ranging from techniques for integrating crossmedia solutions such as quick response (QR) codes into your wide-format printed banners and posters, through to the outer reaches of the latest sign fabrication materials, our hope is that it will work to both inspire and inform.

Ahead of the Curve will focus in on the small- to medium-sized businesses in our industry that are boxing clever and, in doing so, achieving sustained and profitable growth. Looking at sign-makers that have successfully diversified into the emerging market for print personalisation, across to those that have created extensive environmentally-friendly production processes, the series is designed to highlight how capitalising on the latest trends can spur success.

Our new plans for 2013 here at SignLink HQ do not stop there, we have a brand new all singing and all dancing website which is set for launch by the end of February. Perhaps the most exciting part of this new development for me will be the launch of our annual publication, The Sign Directory, online.

The new system will not only allow users, for free, to search for any product and service in the industry that their heart desires, but also allow them to select as many suppliers or manufacturers as they like and e-mail them all the same enquiry at the same time.

In addition to our weekly Sign7 News bulletin e-mailed to you all each week, the team here are also really driven for 2013 to bring you a host of informative new programmes on our video hub for the industry signlinktv.com.
