SignLink Live - a new dawn

For some 13 years now SignLink magazine has reported on an industry which has continued to grow at an impressive rate. It has embraced new technology to create a kaleidoscope of fantastic products and services to help UK businesses transmit their message visually, inform their customers, and also of course to keep our transport and information network running smoothly.

SignLink Live was designed to build on the legacy of this magazine and become a physical extension of it.
It was aimed squarely at the UK sign-making industry, which is one of the most technically advanced manufacturing sectors in the UK, bringing together advanced lighting systems, CAD/CAM design, highly-engineered materials from plastics to extruded metals, fixtures and fittings, and a wide range of engineering skills and machinery to produce its products. SignLink Live is thus both a straight forward trade exhibition, but also a celebration of this immensely varied supply chain.

A good example of this is the success story of Newtown Tapes and the technology it showed at SignLink Live that is designed specifically to help sign-makers boost their productivity, increase their efficiency, reduce wastage, and thus increase their overall profits.

I am very proud of what the team here has accomplished in the last twelve months, and I was so pleased to see so many of you at the show

SignLink Live took place at the International Centre from October 11th to 13th, co-located with sister event The Print Show, and so those in the market for a new wide-format printer were able to kill two birds with one stone.
