Major Investment proves worthy

Major investment proves franchise growth

With thousands of sign-makers continually striving to grow and prosper, recent business activity from within the Fastsigns group is proving its model is giving its members an advantage.

A clear example comes from its Watford branch, which recently invested in new technology and a new space to work from following year-on-year growth.

The firm has recently invested in a HP Scitex FB550 Industrial Flatbed Printer and a Zund G3 XL3200, with the aim of printed on more solid materials, as well as flexible media.

Charanbir Anand, who acquired the store in 2013 and is now director, comments: “Having previously lived in the US, I was very aware of the Fastsigns brand, when I relocated to the UK and the opportunity to own a Fastsigns centre came up, I jumped at the chance.

“Its global reputation and support the UK based team can offer is invaluable, making it possible to realise your business goals much quicker—as is showcased by our move this summer. Over the years, demand had increased along with our client base, and as a result we’d outgrown our previous unit. We desperately needed more room to hold the type of advanced machinery that our newer projects require.”

Now our new premises has enabled us to produce a diverse range of signage and has provide us with meeting rooms, which we’re proud to invite our customers to and can discuss their projects with them in detail and show samples of the work we are able to produce

Anand continues: “Now our new premises has enabled us to produce a diverse range of signage and has provide us with meeting rooms, which we’re proud to invite our customers to and can discuss their projects with them in detail and show samples of the work we are able to produce. This has been great for building client relationships in Watford and beyond.”

The new facilities are based in Moor Park Industrial Estate on Tolpits Lane, after relocating from St Albans Road. The new space is 4,600sq feet (427.3sq m) and will allow the firm to expand and grow with its customer base.

John Davies, managing director of Fastsigns UK, concludes: “Watford has always been a successful centre, located in a position which draws in work from a wide variety of businesses, from the local area, London and Europe. Under Charanbir’s lead it has gone from strength-to-strength, which will only continue now it has moved to its larger premises.”
