Opportunity in Exhibitions

One of the greatest opportunities out there with printed flooring is within the exhibition industry, where exhibitors are looking for new and creative ways of making an impact in the aisles. The team here at Soyang Europe has long championed the floor as an underutilised surface where people are missing a trick if they’re not making the most of this additional surface to sell their brand or their product during a show. Our range of printable flooring products is extensive, with options for both short and long-term applications, or for reuse again and again.

When we exhibited at The Print Show recently, we incorporated printed flooring into our stand design. Why use plain carpet tiles when there’s a large surface that can really help bring your stand alive and spread your message? We also sponsored the giant floor graphic at the entrance to The Print Show which made a powerful statement about our new recycling scheme. The amazing and creative printable flooring options available are durable and non-slip, so provide a practical, yet powerful marketing tool.

There are now materials available that sign and graphics companies can use within their existing print setup that will allow them to offer floor graphics for the exhibition industry and beyond without major investment in hardware. We urge print providers to get in touch with the Soyang Europe team to discuss how they can get into floor graphics production.

Floor graphics are becoming more and more common place for sign makers, especially for short-term retail and exhibition graphics. With the advent of both UV and latex printers offering more and more durable ink solutions – which can cope with this high-end abrasive application, as this is one of the most demanding places a graphic can be installed.

Sign-makers and graphics houses can access this revenue stream by adding floor graphics options to their portfolio and share with those who are already looking at wall and window graphics. Thus, offering a more comprehensive customer experience.

Drytac has a number of products to offer – from easy apply short-term products to long-term solutions for most indoor environments.

Drytac also has a range of green solutions which are PVC free, which includes the new SpotOn SynTac Floor PVC free printable material matched with Interlam EcoTex which is a PVC free overlaminate which offers an R10 slip rating.

Floor graphics are a growing high-volume market but can have many legal and health and safety pitfalls, so it is imperative that you work with a manufacturer that can provide all of the certification, products support and insurance cover.

When we are talking about floor graphics, the most important thing is safety in any public environment: slips, trips and falls are a major worry for any company who is looking to use floor graphics, hence any products used needs to have the correct and valid certifications.
