Eye Airports in Liverpool contract win

With the airline industry suffering heavily during the pandemic, a significant signage contract win is set to help one airport’s recovery.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport has awarded Eye Airports, which specialises in regional airport advertising, the contract to reinvigorate its signage solutions.

Eye Airports will provide large-format all the way through to digital signage during the project, and it is hoped that the new signage will help to generate £2.5m in advertising and sponsorship revenue.

“We are delighted to have secured such a landmark contract with Liverpool Airport, on one of the UK’s leading regional international travel hubs,” says Rachel Davies, managing director of Eye Airports. She continues: “As travel restrictions ease and passengers begin to return to the airport, we are excited about the audiences this world-class airport will deliver to our advertising partners throughout the UK and internationally.”

John Irving is the chief executive officer at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, and adds: “We are excited to announce this new collaboration with Eye Airports, the regional airport advertising specialists, which are a company with a proven track record in delivering successful airport advertising schemes.

“As we embark on this new partnership, we are certain the advertising programme will boost the appeal of our airport to advertisers, increase ad revenue and modernise the digital and physical infrastructure of our facilities.”
