FESPA Brazil pushed back to June

FESPA has announced that its regional event in Brazil will be delayed until June, due to ongoing uncertainty regarding travels restrictions related to the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

FESPA Brasil 2021 had been due to take place in March, but will now instead run from June 23rd to 26th this year, organisers have said.

The event will remain at the same venue – Expo Center Norte in São Paulo – in line with original plans.

“The move reflects the ongoing uncertainty over Covid-19 related event and travel restrictions in Brazil,” organisers say in a statement.

The decision to delay the event come after FESPA in December announced that the 2021 edition of its Global Print Expo and the co-located European Sign Expo would be delayed until October due to concerns over Covid-19 travel restrictions in Europe.

The event had originally been due to take place in the spring of 2020, but was pushed back to March this year.

However, with concerns over the situation of European travel, organisers moved the events to the autumn, with both shows to run from October 12th to 15th at the RAI exhibition centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
