Digital signage scores at PSV Eindhoven

Dutch football club PSV Eindhoven recently joined forces with PPDS on a project to overhaul the look of a luxury hospitality box at its Philips Stadion home.

Named after PSV and Danish national team legend Jan Heintze, the luxury Jan Heintze Kick Box now features eight new advanced smart Philips professional displays from PPDS.

This included three Philips 32” Q-Line displays, four Philips 49” P-Line displays and a Philips 50” Q-Line display for the room’s centrepiece.

The aim of the project was to ensure the facility provided a best-in-class visual solution for matchday entertainment services, as well as for non-matchdays.

Roeland Scholten, sales director for Benelux and IKAM EMEA at PPDS, says: “The result of this custom solution transformed the box from an empty and unused space when no games were on into an in-demand and profitable space.”

PPDS and Philips have a long-term association with PSV, with the latter having served as a sponsor of the club for over 100 years, the longest partnership of its kind in professional sports.

Philips recently renewed its sponsorship of PSV for a further 10 years, through to 2031. The brand also lends its name to the team’s home stadium.
