Widd Signs gives Manchester a luxury look

Leading traditional and digital signage manufacturer Widd Signs has completed a major project that saw it manufacture and install external and internal signage at the luxury Crown Street Victoria Residence in Manchester.

The two-month project saw Widd Signs install high-spec internal and external branding and wayfinding signage at the facility, which comprises two towers of 21 and 52 storeys.

Signage ranges in size and style, and includes fingerpost wayfinding signage and totem style identity branding at the entrances to both towers.

Widd Signs worked with both Renaker, the Manchester-based developer behind the scheme, and wayfinding consultant f.r.a., which developed the initial high-end signage designs and wayfinding.

The scale and complexity of the signage required for this project was significant

Peter Harris, head of sales at Widd Signs, comments: “We’re delighted to have supported Renaker on the development of this hugely impressive scheme.

“The scale and complexity of the signage required for this project was significant and provided us with an opportunity to once again showcase our industry-leading capabilities and expertise.”

Despite the impact of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), Widd Signs has carried out a range of projects this year, while it also completed the acquisition of Spectrum Sign and Display and its new 20,000sq ft site in St Helens.
