Wide-format and signs jobs website launches

Project management software company Vism has rolled out a new website to help people locate new jobs within the wide-format print and sign-making industries.

Jobs in Print & Signage, which is free to use, allows employers to create a profile, advertise jobs and search for potential employees.

People looking for work can apply for positions, set up email job alerts and add their CV for potential employers to see.

Dan Tyler, managing director of Vism, created the site alongside his colleagues, in order to give something back to the industry and support those out of work amid the ongoing novel coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

“We wanted to create something that could help people get back on track, building on industry experience," Tyler says.

"Jobs in Print & Signage – which is completely free to use for both employers and job seekers – aims to bring all the industry’s opportunities together in one place, now and in the future so that connecting people can be much more simple and efficient.

“Even if businesses aren’t recruiting now, they can create a company profile on the site in a few seconds so it’s ready to go when they do start hiring.”

Employers that sign up with Jobs in Print & Signage by October 31st will be able to advertise roles on the site for free forever.

The site will only cover direct employment, with agency adverts not permitted, meaning anyone looking for a job will by applying directly to their potential employer.
