Under the agreement, Midwich will now distribute Shure products in the UK and Ireland via its core business and also Square One, as well as via Van Domburg Partners in Benelux.

This new deal expands on the group’s existing partnership with Shure in France, where it represents the brand through Sidev, as well as in Iberia via Earpro and Italy with Prase.

The agreement covers Shure’s integration systems portfolio of products, which includes its range of conferencing and meeting solutions.

Stuart Mizon, commercial director at Midwich, says: “We’ve seen significant demand for Shure’s products in France, Iberia and Italy, so we’re happy to extend this key partnership to our channel partners and their customers in the UK, Ireland and Benelux.

“Our aim is to provide our customers with access to world-leading brands so they can offer the very best solutions to their customers. With that in mind, we’re excited to enhance the Group’s Unified Communications portfolio with the addition of Shure.”

Rob Smith, senior director for integrated systems sales at Shure, adds: “Having worked successfully with the Midwich Group in Italy, Spain and Portugal for several years, and having recently added Sidev as a distribution partner for France, I’m very glad to be expanding our relationship into the UK and Benelux.”

Midwich extends Shure partnership into UK

Specialist audio visual distributor Midwich Group has signed an extension to its agreement with audio solutions manufacturer Shure to cover the UK, Ireland and the Benelux region.
