Widd Signs partners up with retail giant

Leeds-based Widd Signs has announced details of a recent joint initiative with Marks & Spencer, whereby it completed a six-figure project for the famous retail chain.

Widd Signs designed and installed new exterior brand signs on behalf of Audas Project Management at the retailer’s flagship Market Street store in Manchester.

Made from stainless steel and acrylic, the job includes two 12m long cantilever signs, which run vertically down the sides of the store.

The job took two days to complete, with Audas director Steve Bray praising the finished project.

“This was a challenging project, particularly in relation to the design and installation of the vertical signs, and we’re delighted with the results,” Bray comments.

“The professional and proactive approach the team at Widd Signs demonstrated in overcoming the various challenges is a credit to their business, and their attention to detail when creating and installing this high-quality signage has resulted in an extremely happy client.”

Widd Signs managing director Gary Williams explains the new project extends a relationship with Marks & Spencer that has seen the firm design and install exterior signage at M&S stores all over the world.

Williams adds: “We’re proud to serve as a trusted supplier to M&S, and delighted to have the opportunity to once again showcase the breadth of our industry-leading capabilities, from consultancy and design through to production and installation, at one of their flagship stores.”
