Building for the future with Philips

Philips Professional Display Solutions has linked up with integration specialist Bimagotec to complete a major digital signage project for German construction firm HARFID.

HARFID requested a solution that would support its use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) – a digital representation of both the physical and functional characteristics of a facility – when planning its building projects.

Working with Bimagotec, Philips installed a range of 26 LED and interactive LCD displays throughout the HARFID offices, each selected to help staff plan out their digital visions for construction jobs.

The installation included a super-bright LED videowall – comprising eight 65” displays – in the common room, as well as 10 Android-powered Philips T-line 65”– 55” touchscreen displays in meeting rooms.

Philips also used its CMND control and management software to link into the HARFID custom CMS, allowing team members to create and share their work on any display wirelessly or by cable.

Martin Kostorz, sales manager at Philips Professional Solutions, says: “We were delighted to be part of this project and to help HARFID achieve its technology ambitions in order to continue and further enhance its already exemplary reputation and success.”
