Clear Channel lends a hand to businesses

Clear Channel UK has announced details of a new campaign where it will offer 250 digital-out-of-home campaigns to local businesses free-of-charge.

The #BusinessAsUnusual initiative will be available to those companies that have worked to support their local communities throughout the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

Clear Channel’s Adshel Live digital six-sheet network, which comprises more than 2,300 screens, will host the local adverts, playing them on screens within one mile of the business.

In addition, as some businesses do not have the facility to create their own ads for the screens, Clear Channel will offer design support to bring the campaigns to life.

“The efforts that local business owners have gone to keep their communities watered, fed, healthy, happy and safe are astounding and they deserve celebrating,” Clear Channel’s chief marketing officer, Martin Corke, says

“I’m immensely proud that we can offer 250 free-of-charge campaigns to local businesses, especially at a time when they all need our custom more than ever.”
