FESPA Mexico pushed back to November

FESPA has announced that the 2020 edition of its FESPA Mexico regional event will be delayed until November due to the ongoing novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The event had been due to take place from September 24th to 26th at the Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City, but will now instead run from November 26th to 28th at the same venue.

FESPA says it made the decision to delay the event after talks with partners and the Centro Citibanamex, in light of the ongoing disruption caused by coronavirus.

FESPA’s chief executive Neil Felton comments: “We have been working closely with our local team in Mexico to monitor the situation throughout the Covid-19 outbreak, as we have with our other international exhibitions.

“The decision to re-schedule is in the best interest of the health and wellbeing of all our partners, exhibitors and visitors."

“We are enthused to be returning with the event in November and sincerely look forward to welcoming all of our participants back to the Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City to celebrate the Mexican and Latin American specialty print community.”

The decision comes after FESPA earlier this year also delayed its main FESPA Global Print Expo 2020 event in Madrid, Spain, until October due to the outbreak.
