Jetrix drives profit growth at Astra Signs

Manchester-based sign-making company Astra Signs has revealed that its new Jetrix LXi8 flatbed print machine has helped boost profits.

The new Jetrix LXi8 has been running alongside a Jetrix LXiR320, which was only installed last year, and Astra Signs says it has already felt the benefits of having the two machines in place.

Purchased from Perfect Colours, the 3.2m-wide Jetrix LXi8 is able to deliver high production of speeds of up to 206sq m/hr, alongside other premium abilities such as a dedicated Jetrix graphical user interface.

“After reviewing several other offers out there, these printers were the best fit for us both in terms of their productivity and their competitive price,” Astra Signs’ managing director David Derbyshire says, adding: “They are being used for everything from bespoke branding to signage to direct to substrate.

“In fact, our capacity for direct to board printing has accelerated significantly since having the Jetrix LXi8. The combination of build quality, being easy to use and the excellent white printing in eight-colour means they truly are outstanding for their cost.”

Both of the Jetrix machines are designed and manufactured by InkTec Europe.
