Sign Group hails weekend launch for The Sign Show

Bespoke sign manufacturer The Sign Group has revealed that the decision to open The Sign Show 2020 on a Sunday was one of the main reasons behind it signing up to exhibit at the debut event.

The Sign Group will use its stand at the show to exhibit two of its main products: Neonplus faux neon and its new Alphascreens shaped digital screens.

Speaking about the decision to commit, director Graeme Hoole says being able to demonstrate the capabilities of its solutions first-hand will be a major benefit for The Sign Group at the show this year.

“We like to be at the forefront of the industry, and we do our best to advertise our services as interestingly as we can, but however it’s done, it’s never as good as the customer seeing the products first hand,” Hoole says.

“It gives your existing customers an excuse to have a chat and see if there’s anything they didn’t realise we were involved with, while new or potential customers can meet the people they would be dealing with. We can also attract potential customers who didn’t know about us.”

If you’re in the sign trade and you want to find suppliers of components all the way up to finished signs, then there’s no better place to visit

Hoole also spoke about the benefit of the show opening on a Sunday, saying this was a key factor in its decision to exhibit.

“It’s a very busy time of year, and for that reason a lot of people might find it difficult to visit the exhibitions at that time, particularly the smaller businesses,” he says. “With it opening on a Sunday, they have the chance to visit without having to close their doors, so we might see some new faces walking around.

“If you’re in the sign trade and you want to find suppliers of components all the way up to finished signs, then there’s no better place to visit. Spend a few hours walking around, seeing what’s new in the industry, speaking to people and gleaning insight and useful information.

“It’s ideal for businesses large and small.”
