The wedding channelled an Italian Palazzo style which refers to an architectural style of the 19th and 20th centuries based on the palaces built by wealthy families during the Italian Renaissance.
Special events company, Kudos AV utilised PONGS DirectTEX Softimage Contrast by CMYUK to transform the London hotel into an Italian palazzo with 360 “Venetian vistas”.
PONGS Contrast is a polyester textile that is designed to deliver a “flawless viewing experience” with state-of-the-art light diffusion from its black coated back and smooth white front.
Ideal for achieving light diffusion even on illuminated walls and surfaces, PONGS Contrast is also compatible with sublimation, UV and latex ink technologies.
We use this PONGS Contrast textile because it has great colour reproduction, and importantly it is very malleable – allowing us to stretch and fix it to structures without distorting the printed imagery”
The wedding took place at Mayfair’s Claridges hotel and Kudos AV over saw the entire project, from design, to in-house digital printing, to installation. The transformation of the hotel’s ballroom included visuals, sound, lighting, staging, print and branding.
