The group have turned to wide-format displays once again to showcase a mock mugshot of Johnson holding a board which reads: “I lied to the queen”.
The billboard appeared after the Supreme Court ruled Johnson’s proroguing of Parliament was unlawful.
On September 24th the Supreme Court, led by president Lady Hale, blasted an earlier ruling that the courts weren’t placed to interfere with political decisions.

The image has been placed onto a billboard on New Town Row in Birmingham and is part of a wider campaign by Led By Donkeys to bring to light previous statements made by members of parliament on their views on Brexit, and more recently, Cabinet members’ past views on proroguing parliament.
The group also projected a large display onto the side of the Manchester One high-rise building on Portland Street in Manchester, where it played a “message to voters” from Boris Johnson’s chief advisor, Dominic Cummings.
The video was taken at a conference in 2017, before Cummings was appointed advisor, in which he says: “I know a lot of Tory MPs and I am sad to say the public is basically correct. Tory MPs largely do not care about these poorer people. They don’t care about the NHS. And the public ‘kinda’ cottoned onto that.”
