Lighthouse guides growth with new directors

Lighthouse Display was brought out of administration in April of this year and has now appointed new directors to drive a new phase of growth.

The point-of-sale (POS) specialist, which produces the Clipstrip POS product, was saved from administration by a group of local businesspeople and moved to new premises in Nottingham.

The business and certain assets of Lighthouse Display International were sold in April in a pre-pack administration deal to the newly incorporated Lighthouse Display International POS.

Annie Tighe has taken the position of new managing director, Helen Myles of sales and marketing director, Joel Lockham of operations manager and Jill Goode of finance director.

Tighe has been with Lighthouse Display for almost ten years and has a well-established knowledge of FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods), sales, retail, business development and forecasting.

As a business, we are proud to say that over the last few months, we have been able not only to stabilise our position but even outperform our own forecasts

She comments: “As a business, we are proud to say that over the last few months, we have been able not only to stabilise our position but even outperform our own forecasts.

"With the support from our excellent staff, loyal customers and high quality suppliers; we are in a very healthy position from which to continue on our growth path.”

Myles, who has worked for Lighthouse for over 12 years, has extensive experience in the FMCG business in commercial roles, as well as product development, key account management and marketing.

Existing directors Jonathan Prutton, Tom Mawhood and Simon Woods will remain on the board as non-executive directors who “are committed to providing the support structure to sustain the long term financial stability of the company”.
