The move follows the successful acquisition of Durst distributor Photo Electronic Services (PES), based in the north-east of Melbourne. Durst Oceania’s headquarters will also be in Melbourne, close to the international airport and central business district in Tullamarine.
Matt Ashman, a long-serving employee of Durst, will be heading the company as managing director having recently taken up residency in Australia.

He continues: “Customers in the region have really embraced our innovative technology – particularly the new P5 platform shown at Printex for the first time in August – and software solutions such as Durst Workflow, Dust Analytics and Durst Smart Shop.”

Christoph Gamper, Durst Group’s chief executive officer and joint owner, led the company’s transition into the region and introduced a new management structure.
