Onyx certified for HP Stitch series

Software from Onyx Graphics has been officially certified for use with the HP Stitch series of textile printers.

The Stitch S Series marks HP’s first solution developed specifically for the textile market. The firm has a RIP certification programme which defines a comprehensive set of integration, compatibility and performance criteria “aligned to the highest performance standards and the unique capabilities of HP printing technologies”.

Onyx Graphics, which specialises in software for the wide-format print industry, has designed the driver for the Stitch series to include functionality for both direct-to-fabric printing and dye-sublimation transfer using paper or film.

The Onyx driver provides a custom ICC build option preset specific to the HP Stitch, as well as Onyx QuickSet options which aim to simplify managing textile and dye-sublimation workflows.

Onyx software certification by HP and its integration with HP's first-ever textile printer defines quality and colour for textile and soft signage print applications

Users of the HP Stitch S300 and S500, using Onyx iccMAC v5 profiling in Onyx 19, can achieve superior and consistent colour across the entire print production environment, according to the software provider.

"Onyx software certification by HP and its integration with HP's first-ever textile printer defines quality and colour for textile and soft signage print applications," says Bryan Manwaring, director of product marketing at Onyx Graphics.

He continues: "HP Stitch S Series customers utilising Onyx software profiling and colour tools can feel confident in delivering fast, consistent quality output which can be automated at the click of a button."
