Sign Makers at the Print Show 2019

With The Print Show 2019 taking place at the NEC this month, Rob Fletcher asks: “What does the exhibition offer to sign-making companies and why should they consider attending?”

Expand your horizons

HP will be at The Print Show this year with the first UK showing of the new HP Stitch S series – a portfolio of digital textile printers that deliver precise colour-matching, designed to boost growth via décor and fashion apparel applications, as well as enabling on-demand production and personalisation.

Stitch represents HP’s entry into the dye-sublimation textile market, delivering the world’s fastest colour match capabilities.

The HP stand will be themed around ‘Yes Unlimited’, showcasing how our broad and versatile portfolio enables customers to say ‘Yes’ to any request, regardless of the schedule or applications.

HP will also be showcasing its HP Latex portfolio, as well as the new HP DesignJet for the first time at a UK trade show. Visitors will have access to a VIP tour of the stand to discover new soft signage, apparel, décor and large-format capabilities for engineering, public sector and enterprise markets.

Understanding the need to keep the stand experience fun as well as educational, HP will also host its very own gameshow – the HP Large-Format Wheel of Fortune!

HP has always recognised the value of being able to interact directly with customers to showcase our innovative large-format technologies, so following a successful Print Show in 2018 we signed up to return.

Our key aim is to demonstrate the best of our technology and applications and facilitate a forum where our customers can come and talk to us about their needs and how we can work together to inspire creativity and deliver unlimited possibilities.

In the current challenging business climate of uncertainty and squeezed margins we are aiming to show visitors how, with a relatively low investment, they can win more of the branding opportunities within their existing customer base.

These new branding opportunities not only represent additional margin but help to protect existing business from competitors by offering a one stop shop service.

The Print Show will be our first UK showing of the new bulk ink system for the Surecolor S series (eco-solvent) delivering significant productivity gains and enhanced profitability for volume users.

Also having its first showing in the UK will be the EcoTex synthetic leather print solution utilising the SureColor S60600 printer. In addition, expect to see exciting developments in Epson’s dye-sublimation offering and an expansion of our CAD printer range.

The Print Show is a shop window on a huge number of new opportunities that visitors will not see just on the web or via a brochure

We will also be exhibiting the full range of our SureColor large-format print units. The SureColor range includes eco-solvent, dye-sub, direct-to-garment and aqueous ink sets for a wide array of applications including signage, display, point-of-sale, wallpapers, décor, textiles, garments, hard substrates, proofing, photo and CAD.

The Print Show is a shop window on a huge number of new opportunities that visitors will not see just on the web or via a brochure. From an Epson perspective, we know from past experience that our customers do not always grasp the full possibilities of our products until they have seen them in action.
